Silly Putty is some pretty wacky stuff, let me tell you. Not only does it take up the color of a comic book or newspaper picture when pressed onto it, but it has other uses. It bounces higher when it is cold for instance, and tends to "break" when smacked with a hammer.
Now for the trippy stuff. Take a wad of it and slap it on top of a book shelf. Put it on the side so it has a place to run down. Overhang half of it so it is hanging off the edge of the book shelf. Give it plenty of time, a few days should work, and it will start to run down the side of it. I am sorry I do not have any pictures, but it will run seemingly for ever. It just drips down the side, and the blob on top will always stay there. It never seems to spill all the way over the side. I had some that I left for 3 months, and man, it was cool. Cut stripes into it or divert a portion, it just looks awesome. About 2 weeks ago I smashed some into a circle and placed it on top of the egg container (it comes in a plastic egg) forming a little "hat" if you will. It is almost completely covering the egg now, and it looks badass!
I am sure I am not the only one to play with Silly Putty, so I hope other people have some good ideas. Again, I am sorry I do not have any pictures to show ya'll, maybe I should add a few. It is really quite cool to watch the progress over a few days.
