full plant Hash

Hi, grew up overseas and hash was more common, grown to like regular bud here in the US, but always been my dream when I get my own grow going(been involved in several grows but nowhere where I was calling the shots) to turn the whole grow into hash... save a few buds of course but...yeah whole plant hash. Anyhow, I see a lot of people on here and other sites getting 10-15 % yields dry sifting or waterhashing with trim, but not a lot that I've seen from people making hash from whole buds, at least not in any kind of bulk...any of y'all done much of this? Would like to see some yield #s...and I'm talking say, 140 micron stuff, nothing too fine, thanks in advance for any replies :)

I use a bulk sieve, 180 microns to start with. Then I scrape up the powder and put it through a precision sieve stack, I got it from a chemistry supply place. They use them for testing soil and grit samples. I have a 200, 180, 120, and 45 micron in my stack. I use a brush and carefully tap it through. Most goes to the bottom, then I tap the dust and dirt out the 45 micron sieve and toss it. All the hairs, plant matter, and crap gets caught up in the top.
I'd say 10-15% is pretty good. Maybe you'd push 20%. You only get 50% of the THC from your plant matter so you can use solvent extraction or make butter with the leftovers. Hashish made from sinsemilla bud is incredible, colors ranging from silver to golden brown to reddish purple. The flavor is so much better than water extracted bubble bags or solvent extracted.
