Full Mesh Bags? 5 Gallon.. Best Method?

ok .. just grabbed some very high quality Full Mesh Bags. i only had enough cash on me to get the 5gallon 5 bag set.. which consists of 220 160 90 73 25 and a dry screen. they all look greatly made.. now.. im just been cruising the net.. and im trying to figure out a way.. to allow me to get the best yield and quality method wise.. i hear people using shop vacs with 5gallon buckets to pull the water on threw the screens..


anyone have a method that wont have me working for a week trying to get threw this like 10 pounds of sugar leaf trrim.

if u hvae a good method for dry sifting with the vaccuum bring it up. or post a video


if people could share techniques maybe we can figure out some new techniques.

ok any advice would be good.. basicly.. id like to do 2 runs.. with the same material.. should this be done in 2 buckets? so that i can do a gentle run .. and get some great quality.. and then do a run for a lesser quality. shouold i just runu the material.. in a bucket alone.. with ice and water mix.. then run the first pass threw the bags.. then put the material in to the next bucket for quantity .. ? or does anyone have a good technique to get threw all this trim? im finding myself at a crossroads were if i had the money for butane id make some honey.. but i have some nice full mesh bags that ive never used.. i ran bubble a few years back with a garbage set of bags.. that took forever to get the water threw and yield sucked.. anyways.

i notice not many people here run bubble and wen they do they do things wrong that fuckup flavor or smell.. like drying on cardboard for example.. compared to glass.. ?

i been all over the net.. and everyone does this different.. some get yield.. some dont.. some get quality.. some Dont.

i just want to get rid of the trim.. and have something i can still enjoy. but id like to yield something to either smoke.. or use for edibles or a tincture?

Id take 5 gallon bucket fill it half way with ice, put up to 16oz trim in, fill up with ice cold water till see water, put lid on bucket and shake for 4 minutes. Now run water threw each bag individually, going to need 2 buckets. DO NOT PRESS the hash with screen. Sit it on pressing screen that is on bunch of paper towels in your fridge, keeps it cold while water goes into paper towels. You will have to replace towels couple times.Use metal tray under paper towels so its cold for next step. Once water isnt showing up on paper towels put your hash on clean metal tray in fridge and chop up into smallest pieces possible. After 1 hour sit tray in a cool dry place for 24 hours. If you run all that material at once it will clump up and be a waist. I hope this helps.

ok so i ran a small batch of bubble lastnight.. so .. anyways.. i ran approximatly 120 grams of material.. and afew bags of ice.. that i smashed to shit to make it a little more sharp.. and i mixed in a bucket with a wooden spoon.. no electric beaters.. just cause id rather get less good quailty shit then get a bunch of ehhh ok quality.. so i did a a run .. say about 8 minutes of not too hard of a beating with spoons. mixed it up.. let it sit for 30 mins.. and i started running it thrwe bags.. i ended up getting 10.2 grams out my 90 bag. got 5 grams out of my 25 bag .. and the 73 got 1 gram. the 220 was work bag.. and the 160 bag got 2 grams .. that will be tossed in the cooking bucket...

i also got 10 grams out of the second run that i did after with a 15 minute mix.. that ill be using all my second run material for upcoming tinctures.

the material i ran was mixed strains.. i wasnt going to use my single strain trim until i run bubble a couple times.. so that wen i find a method that works best.. ill have amazing trim to use for it .

ended up with 26 grams of smokeable and 2 grams of cooking grade.. but as i mentioned 10 grams is going to tincture bucket.. till i have enough to make a nice batch of tincture. i have a few people with cancers and such so getting all diff types of meds is great for them.

also will be doing a QWISO on the material in the work bag after i finish the buble.

I prefer to smoke the 160 thru 73 hash. The 160 has more of the essence of the actual plant then 25. I dont even go smaller then 45 anymore. On your reclaim step or 2nd run i pour hot water in bucket with material until ice melts while im stirring the whole time. Dont let water get warm just enough to melt ice. Dont crush ice, try to use home made ice. Also use a metal spoon not wooden spoon, metal one stays cold and have sharp edges. In 5 gallon bucket if i stir i use a small shovel, i like to shake more like a washing machine. I prefer 1 gallon bag single strain runs though. There is alot of little tricks to method. Key is to get all the water out of hash. check out Matt Rize on youtube....

This five gallon bucket method works great. I tried this today and it agitates the trim perfectly. I only used 2-3 ounces of trim and filled the bucket half way with ice and water. shaking way better than stirring. Poured the mixed material through the bags and mined the gold! thanks trichster! There is no way of making good bubble/icewax without some degree of work....and final result is always worth it.

that shaking trick is neat as fuck
i use a long hiking stick given to me by someone i tought to do bubble. its twisty on the end.
I do like 10 minutes of vigorous stirring, with a layer of ice, layer of trim, layer of ice, layer of trim, layer of ice, trim, ice, add water.
after the initial run by hand to get the good shit, i use a paint mixer on the 2nd run, but only short bursts, still a lot of hand mixing with it.

a tip on qwiso, freeze it for 36 hours, then filter and evaporate. MUCH purer and stronger.
i dont have the all-mesh bags...do they work good? i plan on getting a set of 30 gallon payload bags, which have like 20% mesh up the side, and mesh bottom-of course

Yes that would be me and my hash taste even better than it looks.
I press my resin heads to make Hashish because it bring the resin to another level. You are doing 25% only of a process that is possibly ten of thousands of years old. If we compare to wine making you are only collecting the grapes when you stop at the "beach sand" level, I press my grapes, I let them ferment to make wine and then I aged it.
