no but seriously, that's a pretty vague post. How could anyone help you improve if they don't even know what your working with? Some photo's would encourage people to reply as well.
trim away the small lower buds and branches. concentrate on a main cola. then pray

ya trim up bottoms for starters... but cant really help much without mo' details
all the basics covered? watts per s/f around 50? temps around 24-26 lights on? 20-22 when off?
HID CFL LED? how far from tops?
what strains? some dont do donkey dicks or forearm buds.... some are small nugs everywhere...
air flow? fans running?
post a pic that'll be helpful... good luck i hope someone on here can help ya out, but we need more info like stated above.

Okay...pictorial coming for how to grow "single cola" buds is a new must have for this site. The question comes up to often. While it is numerous factors, lighting intensity and distance, strain selection, etc...
The biggest of these is technique. This is what is no longer discussed...in detail. I typed a long descriptive response and without pictures it seemed like jibberish non-the-less. It isn't the first time either...

Work on your five main factors.
Light - make sure you have enough light per sq ft.
Water - Clean water that is free of chlorine, chloramine, extra metals, salts.
Air - Make sure you have fresh air at all times. Humidity should stay at 60-70% during veg and 50% during flower. Added CO2 helps also.
Nutrients - This isn't about buying the best, it is about knowing what your plants want when they need it.
Genetics - You can't polish a turd.
Work on the fundamentals first, then work your way up. Hope this helps.

hi all sorry for being so vague well my room is 800mx1500mwith 18000mm hieght i have a 600cooltube with a 250 in there as well a 9" fan extarcting and a 6" pulling in with girls are in 10l pots in straight canna coir being fed canna coco a and b with pk13/14 (when needed) a heater on a themostatic timer so temps are good, veg undera 250 mh with a 6" fan n there temps are good in here to, Ive been topping 5th node i havn been taking the lower limbs off got runnng at the mo phycosis, ukhem,casey jones ,blue cheese and a sd ibl so genes are good i get great a great smoke but not getting the nice full length buds i must be mssing something but cant see what

perhaps the strains, when topped... are not being vegged a few days to recover?
maybe too much crowding? plant/branch density is key to a big harvest.

A 250 gives me colas longer than my forearm but my pot is 18 gallons. I'm sticking with too little veg and adding small pots. Small pots means small roots which means small plants. I used to do E&F with 4" rockwool cubes. One day I was forced to 6 inchers and was stunned at the greater growth.

when I ran a 250 I didn't get those... maybe baby forearms, lol...
but like you say its all about the pot/root rize.... I should try big ass pots, but i run more or less a sog....
so to the O/P, with lack of info I too feel its lack of veg and small pots....
im just throwing out ideas, but you have some other very helpful members of ICMAG here, so no worries you'll get those forearms soon enough.
