Nice thread you have going here.I LOVE my smart pots too brah.I use them indoors and out.I also happen to get two packs of this mix.I am not doinganything at the moment so I live vicariously through this thread..lol.I also thought these were a great buy.

Hey Buddle. Thanks for stopping by thread and living vicariously at the moment. I sure you will find some gems in your packs as well.

Here are some details about my dual layer closet setup. The bottom level is not sealed from the top level - there is about 6 inches on both the front and back that allow air to flow.

I bring in cool air from an adjacent closet by the inline fan on the bottom. A fan blows across the light board to distribute the heat from the bare bulbs.

The top level has a strong bathroom exhaust fan that runs 24/7. The hood has an inline fan that pulls additional heat from the main top light.

So, basically I am bringing cool air from the bottom and pulling it up to the top. Bottom level stays 71-72 degrees and the top level stays 74-75 degrees.

Nice, that helps a lot.Cool set up.I'm working on comingup with a good perpetual system using a 4x8 tent and a couple closets.

Here are some shots from today. I have added smell descriptions with this round.

#2 - This one is the slowest to flower. She has a strong fresh smell that still a little undefined.

#3 - She is starting to put out a chemical type smell that is hard to describe.

#5 - This one is the most advanced (earliest flowering) but shortest. She has a wonderful tropical/pine smell. I have high hopes for this girl.

#7 - This one has a nice coffee smell with a hint of mocha. It has been the most Sour Bubble looking of the bunch.

A quick update... I gave all four girls a 1 tsp/gal blast of KoolBloom powder, per Rez's recipe. This is the first blast for 2, 3 & 7 and the second blast for 5. More pics in a few days.

I scored some Rez Sour Diesel Kush in the last drop. It is actually Pitbull OG Kush x Sour Diesel. I am really looking forward to making some seeds with my Rez, BOG & ft100 genetics on the next run.

I am a happy camper for sure, also because my current plants are looking so good. #5 is getting solid buds and reaking of a "Hawaiian Tropic Sun Tan Lotion" smell.

what are the differences in the bxs of chemdog. what makes up a better outcross, the sour diesel, or the kush? i know this is very opinionated, but i was just wondering what the characteristics would be that would be different on these.

Hey FT. I was doing some reading on Chem D and I found the posts above from 2007. I was wondering what version of Chemdog D Bx1 you ended up using?

I think there are a couple of Chem leaning plants in my mix. Thanks.

I have grown a cut of chem d for a couple years.They look similar for sure.
She'll take longer than 7 but my guess is she'll be well worth it You've got me psyched for my packs of FT100's mixI loved how you showed their progression in that photo spread too..peace BL

my version was the first ones i believe mixed with the hindu kush. i believe it was not very dominant at all and that is why rez used it along with it upping the yield possibly, lessening stretch, and speeding up flower time. around 10-10.5 weeks is when most of my chems come down. yours being mixed with either the dsd or the sour bubble could go longer a week or shorter a week. cant wait for the updated pics.

BL - Thanks for stopping by and your assessment of #3. I am sure hoping I got some Chem in a couple of my females. You should find some killer plants in your mix as well.

FT - Thanks for the additional Chem info. I am really looking forward to the end of flowering and playing the guessing game of which parent is which. Won't know for sure, but it will be fun trying to put together the pieces.

#5 has what I have seen on this board described as "Shark Tooth" leaves. From searching, it appears to be a Rez trait in his Chem line.

I gave the girls another 1 tsp/gal blast of powder KoolBloom yesterday. It was the final blast for #5 with the rest having 1 more in a week. They are really getting fat and smelling super dank!!!

#5 looks to a be a keeper for sure. It was shorter (very little stretch) than then others, but it REAKS with Tropical/Fruity/Funk and has the most resin by far at this stage.

I will be posting update pics in a few days, but here is a shot of my clones/mothers for all 5 of Fairytale females. Front row left to right is #2, #3 & #5 and back row left to right is #6 & #7:
