From Scratch...

I want to design a growroom but need very precise dimensions of plastic for the setup I've had in mind. I need a few sheets of a sturdy plastic with these dimensions: Height: 6' Width: 3'.

The problem is that I also need these pieces to have curvature equaling that which would make each piece a quarter circle. That means that four of these pieces put together would make a complete circle.

Whats my best option here. I just searched google for about 2 hours and didn't find any sites offering such items. I did read a little bit about making and filling molds, but that seemed kind of complicated and tedious. Does anyone here have any experience with making plastics or perhaps someone could point me in the right direction of a company who offers something like this.

Later Guys,

I've used predator mites but they are slow and ineffective,at least in my case.If you live in a lizard state they are hungry little carnivores for bigger pests and possibly fungus gnat and other larvae.

Not sure if this will help at all, but I have made my own areo and ebb and flow with ply wood before. You have to use a Marine grade epoxy to keep the water out but this is what they use on boats and it does not break down. I have had my areo going for about two years and my cloner going for three years and still never needed another coat of epoxy. West Marine has the best non toxic epoxy, comes with pumps that measure. I first learned about this when I built a custom fish tank for a customer, that was 5 years ago and still works like a charm.

P.S. stay off the crack American.

CT, If your interested in epoxy paint, check out this site. They sell a nontoxic 2prt paint. I used it to seal a large plywood tank. It has not leaked in over 3 years. Also swimming pool & marine supply stores will have a similar product. I don't know about the toxicity of these paints. I used a brush to apply it, Also this stuff puts out some nasty fumes while it cures so be careful if you use it.

The epoxy is a two part non toxic Marie Grade Epoxy. West Marine or Tap Plastics both have good grade epoxy but the one from West Marine has measure pumps. That helps with the two part epoxy because it is very important to apply exact measurements for optimal results. It also takes about three to four coats but like I said, you wont have any leaks.

As for my misters I use Home Depot misters used in drip systems. They are ok at best so I only run them for 5 min every hour during growth. Then I have three foggers that I run on off every 5 min. I don't have the name but at my local hydro show they sell for 30 a piece. They just break the water up real fine into a mist, fun at holloween too. In conjuntion they seem to keep my roots healthy and white.
