From Perpetual grow to Flood and Drain

I'm a long time grower, planted my first seeds in 1984. For the last 10 years I've been running a perpetual grow with 5 to 8 strains at a time. 3 plants went into flower 3 plants came out of flower pretty much every 7 to 10 days. With 21 plants in flower and at least that in veg, plus taking cuttings, I did not keep mother's plants but I've come to realize that genetics are not as "locked down" as they used to be and I think I have been experiencing genetic drift with each recessive generation. Keeping that in mind i will keep mother's. I have 8 strains to work with. I have 2 phenos of each strain to work with.
FatBastard both phenos in flower

CherryPie both phenos in flower

SunnyJack on of mine SunshineDayDream from Bodhi x JackpotExpress (JackpotRoyale x PineappleExpress)

From seed
HoneyOG
FruitCup
Pez
BlackTruffles

I grow in coco and have been watering by hand. In a perpetual grow that means a ton of nutrients mixing, though I treated like soil and watered only when dry, still a lot of work.
So the switch to flood and drain.
I have an 8 x 4 drain table
Using 2 gal. fabric pots I will be able to fit 32 plants on the table,
remaining in coco as a medium.
It will be around 70 days before I will empty my flower area. Last 10 plants went into flower yesterday.
This is what I'm looking like in flower now.
On the floor 7 plants day 1 and in front are 3 SkyWalker Kush's with about a week left
1000000955.jpg

On the table 21 plants from day 1, 3 in front, to day 56, 3 to the rear.
1000000954.jpg

In veg, I'm stressing because its basically empty and that is just to wierd for me.
The freshly rooted clones are the 2 each of OG and CheeriePie
1000000952.jpg

Cuttings that i expect to root in the next few days
SunnyJack, OG and CheeriePie

And seedlings, all but BlackTruffles they just went in the moist paper towel to germinate.

Been a minute since I posted. First was the fires that shut down the site as I understand it. Then I had an icestorm that came thru and I lost power for 6 and a half days. Temps stayed in the mid 40s during the day and high 30s at night so I took a hit from that. But I think we are recovered now and are doing well. I did drop a few seeds just in case.

My mother's

They don't look like much right now because they just gave up 30 cuttings.

Still waiting for the flower table to clear, about 35 days or so I think.

Lastly is CherryPie, still figuring this one out. So undecided if I am going to keep her but I like to make a few runs before I decide.

Flower is processing well. All but 3 of these are on day 53 of flower, 3 are on day 6, a GSC cross, the last 3 to run in my garden, and will come out in the next 10 days for flushing.

GSC, she took a big hit in production, I'm sure due to the storm

Weekly update
All cuttings took 30 over this last week, I need 21 of the 30 so I culled out the slower rooting cuttings, which where mostly the OGs.
I end up with 9 SunnyJacks, 6 Cherry Pies and 5 OGs.
1000001551.jpg
1000001552.jpg
To fill the remaining 9 spots in flower are 3 of each Black Truffles, Fruit Cup and Pez

1000001550.jpg
1000001547.jpg

4 mother's, not sure why I am keeping the FatBastard around very disappointing yield but I have to remember the cold and dark stress early mid flower.

Flower update
10 plants left on thd table. I pulled 3 GSC crosses and started the flush. Harvest will be in the next 2 weeks. I have definitely taken a hit this round in flower. They all seem to be .ore than 2 weeks behind and my yield will suffer.

1000001555.jpg
1000001556.jpg

The 10 on the table, these are on day 63 and should be finishing up, but I think 3 or 4 more weeks to finish.

I'm pretty disappointed in this run of FatBastard and probably won't run it again. To replace it i dropped 2 AlienAppleBreath from 1212 Seeds that where lifted to me.
Danks for the look.

This week in flower, all plants preparing for flower have been topped and reported in 1 gal. fabric pots and I start flushing in the flower room, so in about 2 weeks I will reload the flood and drain table. After a good cleaning of course.
