From Greenhouse to GreenShed

Ok so maybe a few of you know I had rippers this summer early in the veg stage. I have a small greenhouse grow. Anyway so Ive been thinking of how to improve security etc etc. I put padlocks on the Greenhouse, tried to use those small PIR alarms but they go off all the time . Useless. I have chained the pots together and to the top of the metal frame of the greenhouse. I have a new grow and its 2 weeks into flowering so I will see if it survives the rippers.

So I was thinking what would be an alternative to a Greenhouse. I thought a Conservatory on the side of the house would be the best but very expensive . Then I was planning to build a garden shed from breeze blocks or bricks, just a simple thing for tools etc. And now I have this idea: what about a Brick shed with a glass roof? So noone can see the plants and its very secure (strong door, lock etc). Anyway my question is: wpould this be any good for growing or would it produce poor plants? Im not so experienced in growing so would value your opinions. Thanks dudes....:tiphat:

Its a good idea I think. Need good ventilation for sure. Ac?? U could also outfit the glass with a black out roller shade for 12 12 whenever or all the time flower;) motorized on timer.

I would slope the glass to the south if possible, you would want it to runoff water for sure. Would love to see what you come up with!! Been thinkin and daydreamin about these.

Thanks Soupuss great tips. Yes I was thinkin of 2 windows in the glass for ventilation. I could rig up electric to the shed and have a fan goin (its only like 5 plants) ....my main worry is that the light will be insufficient although my current greenhouse has light all day never in shade. But is there enough light in the top of the shed considering all the sides are walls....?

Sorry to hear about the rippers... Some people have no class or morals.
Would it not be safer to put em inside under lights?
Then fill the greenhouse with hemp , poison ivy and fire thorn... Let the fuckers rob that n see where it gets them

what about polycarbonate corrugated sheets, let the light in and alot tougher than glass/plastic sheeting

Ha I had thought of that, to do an inside grow (but dont have any experience with it) and put male plants in the greenhouse and leave the door open.....tee hee:laughing:

Damn right... Here , help yourself, smoke this!

Indoor growing is easy enough, as long as you stick with soil ... Much more secure and plants love it.
Plus more crops per year :)

I don't think it would get enough hours of direct sunlight, it should still work but not nearly as well as your greenhouse did. You'd also probably need supplemental lighting to make up for the hours the sun isn't directly overhead.

get you a badasss dog.....nobody gets even close to my plants...yeehaw....just having a clear roof limits how much light plants get but will work make sure you got plenty of ventilation..you wont get perfection with that type of setup and buds wont be as dense ...my girl aint a pup no more .....yeehaw..anyone stupid enough to get over the wall with 2 ft topper will soon be torn up badly..i trained her well..there has only been 1 attempt and they didn't even get to fully get over the wall before she was all on it..i bet their hands got bit.. a fully trained german shepard is worth its weight in gold
