From 12/12 back to natural light?

Sorry if this has been asked many times before. I DID search and could not find an answer. I have a few plants in my greenhouse in soil. One is a nice size to begin to flower. my question is this - If i cover it every day to achieve 12/12/ light/dark and I see buds beginning after two to three weeks, must i continue with covering it every night? If I let it go back to natural light which around here will be about 16/8 will the budding stop and the plant revert back to vegetation and buds stop developing?

I ask because I travel a lot but have a window of opportunity to begin 12/12/ for three weeks beginning around the 4th of July.

Thanks so much for any help!

Revegged plants are kinda "screwy" as far as structure. You can bloom a revegged plant but don't expect as much yield and the buds won't be as nice.

In my area they start to flower at around August so maybe it will continue to flower after starting in July by forcing remember the daylight is decreasing after June 21 good luck
