bought an 70 pint friedrich dehumidifier d70bp a few months ago.running 24/7.built in condensate pump.a lot lighter than my old dehumidifiers.more compact.plus has front and top vents so it can be pushed in a corner.very well thought out.

dragunn,
Thanks for the review. I'll be needing a 2nd dehumidifier in a couple of months. I'm a true believer in Friedrich products. Long lasting. I've been researching them a bit, at Allergy Buyer Club. Will probably get a unit like yours or the Danby.

Do you use the pump to get rid of the waste water? If so, is it very loud? Thanks. -granger

I would absolutely stay away from anything Friedrich, the unit is great; nice and quiet, but they have the Worse customer service!
I purchased my Breeze mini split in August and installed last weekend as the heat just arrived and it's been dripping condensation everywhere, i have a 5 gallon bucket under it and it fills in 3 days, it's a mess.

Been calling them for over a week now and they keep forwarding me over to the only two authorized servicers in my area who keep telling me "It's not my problem" (they won't even take a look at it!

Friedrich has not even offered to replace or fix the unit, they just keep taking my with the "I'll call you back" response.

Lesson learned.
