Friedrich Breeze problem

Just installed one. powered it up, everything seemed fine. 5 minutes after starting it shows the letters US on the temperature screen & the led under cool is flashing 13 times then repeats. Ive searched the net, but there seems to be no info on servicing a breeze. I thank you for any help

should say in the manual or trouble shooting guide. Best bet is to call their tech support # and tell them. They can tell you what it means

Well I was told by friedrich tech that I need a new board. The unit is brand new, has not work at all. How hard is it to replace a board? Should I request a new unit rather than replace the board? Thanks for any ideas or advise

13 is bad luck . return it . god knows what else could be wrong . prob made on a monday or friday LOL

i'm an hvac tech and have never just replaced a part on a unit that had problems from the start. take it back and demand a new 1. kinda like buying a new car. if it has problems from the start get rid of it. the problems only get worse. although a board may be easy to change you spent good money on something that is giving problems out of the gate. if it were me i would get a different brand. bad parts usually take a while to weed out. jmho

You think maybe you installed it wrong? Maybe something to do with the electric or wrong fuse/circuit etc.. Shrug I don't know. Will they give you a new unit since you installed it yourself?
