I'm trying to get the auto mode on my 12k Breeze to work. I asked a friedrich tech and he said you get the room to the temp you want, set to auto and the unit will heat or cool to maintain the temp. Well it cools just fine in auto but won't heat. The indoor unit just says 77 when in auto.
I'm trying to keep my night temps around 77 without having to come in and switch the unit from heat to cool to heat every twelve hours. I keep the room at 80F lights on and when lights go out it drops to about 69F. The breeze keeps temps at 80 no problem but when lights go out the unit won't switch to heat to maintain the set temp.
