I don't know if this is the right spot but, HAPPY FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH EVERY BODY! Sorry, just one of my favorite days. The superstition is so thick in the air! I love it!
I dont know either, but considering that was your 33rd post superstition naturally would hold you to be a mason of the 33rd degree. And we all know those bastards to be evil. Anyways, not long ago I saw the movie DaVinci code. In it they explain that the date originally refers to a Papal order of 1307 to arrest the Knights Templar, who where subesquently charged with heresy, tortured and executed. The Grand Master was burned at the stake seven years after persecutions begun. While roasting, the man cursed both the Pope and the King of France (the Papal ally) who both died within a year of the utterance. Apparently, its been considered a cursed day ever since. Glad to hear you spreading the happiness, the world needs plenty of it!
well, not a mason, probably should be tho. I love all the controversy and mystique surrounding them. And thanx for the history lesson if I knew the origins I forgot it by now. (damn ciggarettes) (sp?)
oooo your right, i bet that hits the streets first thing in so cal this morning. I remember the halloween kush from santa cruz? i think, just got that name b/c it got dropped that day and everyone was burning it and I just talked to the grower of the obama kush, he said it was blackberry kush and some club just renamed it obama kush to sell that shit for days after he got elected. the south is a crazy place.
Did sombody say masons are evil........LOL!! It's amazing how much people are mis-informed about stuff!!
Friday the 13th is when all the knights templar were murderd, actually september 13th in the year 1307 ad. September 13th would have been friday the 13th.
Ive never seen anything other than the above story concerning where the superstition of friday the 13th came from.
Bikers across the world do a big motorcycle ride on Friday the 13th as well, but i don't think it has any relation to the knights templar.
i was driving my friend home from a LAN we had at my place. i was helping him to the car to put his shit in the backseat, carrying a single item, his overtly expensive keyboard(i have one too) i promptly left it on the roof RIGHT INFRONT of him, where he was packing shit into the car, i didnt say anything assumed he would see it.
we drive off, we get to his place, and there's no keyboard.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUC..........
i bought him a new one today, no questions asked. it's my cost to incur, cost me $133.xx and, im already poor as shit. F you friday 13th.. im SO glad youre dying tonight at midnight. asshole.
