I am about to pick up some clones from the local cannabis dispensary. I was wondering if it would be ok if i just planted the ladies outside right away. How big do you think the will get if i do this. This is my first time outdoors so any help would be great. Thanks guys

yes you can plant them directly outdoor, if they have been hardened off. If they haven't or if you don't know, let them sit out for a few hours in the sun and then take them in, so they get used to the intense light. After 3-5 days of this, they'll for sure be ready for the great outdoors. Your yield depends on many different factors. Dig a hole, to loosen up the soil and add some organic amendments and potting soil, maybe a little dolomitic lime, and let this sit at least a week or 2. Make a divet in it and plop in a plant. If you can, give it plain potting soil around the transplant so the roots can easily get goin. Chicken wire or use a plastic cylinder from a 2 L bottle for protection until they get to a couple feet.

Don't forget to give them a good drink of water after transplanting.

hadening off a clone is basically getting the plant used to the intense direct sunlight. basically keep in a shaded area outside but let it get a FEW hours of direct light a day after a couple day's you wont have to do this anymore and you will want her in direct light as much as possible. check out the outdoors thread's on this forum from last year to get an idea of people's plant sizes and how much they yielded.
