However, when ganja is still 'fresh' the 'green' chloroplasts (chlorophyll) will be present in the overall taste (the butter will taste like grass).
fresh ganja is OK for making lassi (ice, sugar n ganja blended together), but for cannabutter you might want to dry/cure the ganja first (as you would normal buds).
you can always fast dry in a microwave (at 30sec intervals) if you are short on time and want to make the butter quickly. However, some THC would be lost and it would still taste green/grass-like :wink:
you can use an oven 30 mins at say 75c whatever that is in 'f'.... then let it sit in off oven with door open overnight.. should be nice n dry, quick cure but not too brutal.. if its well under 100c it wont kill any resin you have... I do this for testing and I find smoke right after 30 mins in oven is not very potent but if it gets drier like over night its a much better smoke... you know... you get a better idea of what it could be when properly cured
