i don't know the weight of the trim about1.5 kilo or so
i had someone make me a press mold that i can put in my..... fuck what's the english word.........a tool that's screwed to a work bench u use to clamp stuff in ................
very tasty looking indeed.....woq, nice idea on the press too, i know several metal workers who could knock something together like that to use in the vice....
so is that fom ur bubbleator or the mixer run you did beside it, or is it both?
My mates shop just got thew bubbleater in...lol...the box just says mini washing machine....so looks like mila found an existing product to use lol..... wonder what kinda markup she put on it lol, but thats nothing to do with this thread.....
Great hash supply man.... that press loks like it does the trick quite nicely.... I was thinking of getting a Piece maker or Pur Press, which are both screw presses, but not tiny like those space case presses that r useless in the sense that once u press ur hash, its staying in the press lol... he 2 presses i am considering both make a nice round cake that yours does...and as a gimmick the piece maker has different dies you can use to press it with so you can have a little pattern imprinted on it...alhough thats just what i said, a gimmick, but someppl like stuff like that eh....
well, that was a long ramble to just say...Nice hash man...
lol,
Be lucky,
Harry
the pressed result is from both the bubbleator and the normal mixer way.
the ice is heavy to smoke get's you reallllly stoned ..... so stoned that it really can knock you off you're feet hard on the trouth though you can't take a good hit without cauging (mind the wrong spelled words )
i thought about a piecemaker to but 150 euro ........ and will it work ok ????
the press is made by an iron worker i know and is verry simple.
the "bottom" is about 60mm in diameter with a hole of 37mm in the middle, but not all the way true
then you have the "casing" witch is a bar of 35mm with a hole in the middle of about 22mm all the way true
and a press bar of about 21mm
i also have a longer bar and casing to make bigger disck's but smaller works better!
i put a round tinfoil (i think it is) on the bottom to prevent the ice stikking to the bottom, then i put in the casing and fill this with the desired amount of dryed ice material.
then i put the bar in the casing and put it inbetween the vise and press.
i turn the vise till i have to put a lot of pressure on it, but not with all the power so it stay's nice and soft.
then i take it out of the vise , the bottom comes right of but the casing stick's to the ice and so does the bar.
i take a hammer and knock on the top side of the bar so it all slides out of the casing.
it stick's a bit to the bar but let's go easy because the bar is chroom !
i take of the tinfoil and i have a nice disck where i take of the edges because they are standing a bit up cause when you press it a bit crauls in between the casing and the bar.
i know what you are thinking, why didn't you make the hole in the casing smaler so it can't craul in between...........
well............ it used to be like this, it was air thight, when i used to put it together without ice in it, the bar would just hang there in mid air floating cause the air in it had no way to go, so when i pressed it the air had to go somewhere and it was the bottom, so the bottom got lifted a bit and the ice came out that way to and i didn't get nice discks.
this is way better, it's also one of the reason't i want to see the piecemaker in action first, maybe i'll buy one when i see it working perfect, but they gotta do something of that rediculous price, this is made for about 10-15 euro i think it was !!!!
long text but now y'all know how it works and can start building one yourself
Cool! Looks like about an eight ball each. I use a Jack Puck and like it. Parchment paper is the trick with that one. If you make it too thick you have a hard time cutting it up. So you don't heat it?
