fresh air for 4x4 tent, 1k, air cooled hood, with ac box

Hey everyone I had a question on how to give fresh air to my plants, or if I even need to. Here is very rough diagram of my setup:

As you can see, the only 'new' air that is getting in is from the ac. Do I need to set up some kind of passive intake? I am worried it will make the ac air escape without making any difference.

I have not started anything yet so I have a lot of flexibility and am open to any suggestions.

Thanks!

I just realized If I did not have an exhaust setup and used exactly whats in that picture, I would have positive pressure. I am not to sure about pressure other than a lot of people want negative pressure for their tent. Would that be a problem with that setup?

U useing co2??? If not stick a filter at the end of ur light duct outside the tent sucking out the hot air from inside so dont duct the other end of ur light leave it opened. .. ifu r gonna use co2 the scrubber needs a seperate fan inside the tent... for ur setup a portable ac inside the tent with hot air ducted out the back would be much less work... either way as much as i hate portable acs they are good for small tents... plus if possible go 5x5 that extra foot is huge difference. ..

a 1k in a 4x4 is going to produce a lot of heat. best thing to do here is to make a passive intake. Cool the lighting with your duct fan using NEGATIVE pressure. use your ac unit to cool the passive/ambient air being drawn into the space.
like recommended above, I would go with a 5x5 as well.

Thank you both for the informative replies! I agree with both of you to upgrade to a 5x5, I think I can make it fit.

Do you think this is a better design? It has a fan dedicated to the light, and one will be just for passive. Or is that overkill and I should just use the passive air to cool the hood?

Thanks

Thats exactly how i sebt my tent up with a 6in fan filter hangin ... dont no how they make tents now but i needed extra support in the roof.. will work muxh better... if u hang the filyer inside the tent before the loght u kill 2 birds with on one stone

Thanks again for the input! I just got home with my 5x5 and a hydrofarm 14000 portable ac. I will let you know how it goes
