Free CO2 Dehumidifier

Skeptical of anything labeled as "Free". My grasp of science is almost as shoddy as my grasp on reality, but I dont see how a dehumidifier is going to produce co2 without burning some kind of fuel, or maybe they put a little compartment for sugar and yeast in there, lol! But seriously in a semi-well sealed room, propane combustion is super ultra cheap, like $10 bucks a plant per cycle, which I'm sure comes out cheaper than the initial cost of this magical dehumidifier for years and years and years.

there a number of chemicals what will evolve co2 during some reaction... but one that also dehumidifies? i think CaO maby( calcium oxoide). its basically cement... without any sand or lime. aka quicklime, aka dangerous as all fuck.

you basically heat carbonate to stupid high temps and drive out co2 leaving the CaO.

but heating carbonate would also release moisture id think... rather than remove it.

idk.... this stupid fucking thing is probably bullshit. look at this piece of shit website. where are the patent numbers? where is the tech?

bullshit.

the ONLY thing i can think of is an old school adsorption type heat pump... basically heat is providing the motive or pumping force for the refrigerant instead of a compressor.

the very first heat pumps were of this type. you can google ammonia adsorption chiller... far as i know these are the most popular adsorption chillers. ive heard of some regrigerators than can run off of propane ... but these fridges were unusual things, meant for survival or exmergency situations

Gee... a website that offers no information on the product in development, how it works, only that it is available to us via some undetermined grow shop at some point in the future... and all we need to do is input our persona information into a shoddily put together web page?

No thanks...

its probably an adsorption heat pump.

they are probably looking for the cash to re purpose a few units.
it was brought to my attention that some european manufacturer makes natural gas adsorption chillers for areas with unreliable/ expensive electricity and abundant/cheap natural gas/propane...

someone email them? they have a contactus button on the top.

id post the email, but im not going to allow scripting on that website.
