You never noticed the influx of good ole boys that have been elected pres for many decades right or left? Having grown up in North carolina, alabama,and kentucky I think I know the good ole boy system pretty well and THEY HAVE NO MORALS! But they clentch a bible and go to a baptist church 3 times a week or more.

I was not sterotyping every southerner but more like the sell out "elected" officals that they continue to elect to lead their states and some of who end up president.

If some people in the south cared about the real issues in america then there might not be such a problem. But, they vote for issuses like abortion, gay rights, and faith these 3 items should not even be political but in the south these are hot ticket items and most poiticans get elected by playing these cards.

Again I am not attcking the south I live here but more like I am attacking the old dust bag voters who vote for leaders based off issues that dont mean shit.

Tx and ak count for one reason: "The good ole boy network" stretches that far even though I dont consider them southern states.

And no we cant blame one sterotype as almost every group of people in this country play a role at fucking it up!

I blame the past generations for creating such groups that do nothing but divide us and keep us fighting with each other instead of placing focus on the real enemy that we call our government.

Aslong as we are willing to divide into groups like right or left , faith and faithless, black and white, pro-life and pro-choice we will only lose out in the long haul.

Funny thing is, I think we would agree on a lot politically. The point I'm making is that sophisticates of the left have an endemic prejeduce against southerners. I'm born and raised in Cali, so get it and even laugh at the jokes,

But to say that "good ol' boys have no morals is a priori false. First like all humans, they are complex and hold many different views, second, they have very strong morals (sometimes) their priorities are just different from yours.

The larger overall point is that people concerned about the environment and other very improtant issues, simply tag their opponents as acting in bad faith or being stupid. This says nothing about the opponent in question and everything about the accuser. The reason I bring up Sun Tzu is that progressive causes tend to be articulated by folks who put down and denigrate the very people they need to convince. As a former PR flack, I happen to know that that is an ineffective strategy, to say the least.
