How is the happy frog soil mix? Anyone tried it?? Never heard of it before 10 minutes ago, and seems like a lot better deal since it's 2 cu. ft.

The rumor is it is a mix of OF, LW and the Regular FF red bag as a response from guys like the moonshine man who mix them.

fuck thats what it is? I use 2/3 Ocean Forest with 1/3 Light warrior...great stuff!

I use it regularly and make my version of the moonshine man mix with it. I would stake a mother plant or two on it NOT being moonshine man mix. It's too heavy, not enough perlite, not enough nutrients.

But, I've been wrong before.

I bought some today LightWarrior is 20$ and FFOF is 15$ same size bags ones heavery by density not volume...a bag fill 4 x 2gallon containers or 2 x 5 gallon

so you guys liking this stuff?

i was originally just gonna go with teh Original Fox Farms, but this stuff sounds great.

Do you need to mix it with anything? Do you have to add perlite(this just helps for drainage?)? Or what?

yeah you have to add perlite. im liking it. 21.95 i could never pay that for dirt. im glad theres a place in arcata that sells it for 7.50...they run out alot too

I just picked up a bag of this stuff today. I can't beleive how much it is other places! In Eugene there are two places that have it, one place charges $10 and the other charges $11. Each store charges $1 more for Ocean Forest.

I havent tried it but my hydro store had two mason jars one filled with ocean forest the other with happy frog the frog looked much "grayer" and fluffier I much prefered the way OF appeared although appearance surely doesnt mean everything.Here on the east coast ocean forest is 19.95,not sure of the frog
