Four on the floor

I am in the process of growing my first wall to wall 400W HPS grow. I have finished one plant with this light after starting with 5 23-27W CFL's. I think she did OK despite the lack of respect they get with the higher level growers. I understand the need for high yield but, just to get your feet wet- nothing beats CFL's.

I started 4 plants- from seeds I got from a medical marihuana patient with whom I traded some buds for some seeds. The Blueberry he gave me turned out to be the real thing so I hope that the FLO turns out to be as described as well. FLO is said to be a cross between a Sativa called purple Thai and an Afghan Indica 60/40 Sativa/Indica.

I hit a Grand Slam! All 4 seeds I planted turned into females! This is the first time that has happened. I have also struck out- getting 0/3 females. I am reluctant to try cloning since it requires 2 rooms. Dumb but that is my situation.

These babies aroma is starting to fill up the house if I let it. You know what I'm talking about! Heavenly! I don't want to invite anyone in- fearing that they will notice and discover my big secret. They are at day 24 of 12/12 and 3/4 are at about 42 inches high! The 4th is a Northern Lights that I started about 10 days after the other 3- But SOB, It turned into a girl too! I have the HPS hanging from the shelf in the closet and I have it about as high as it can go. I don't need any more stretch! When I started 12/12, the highest plant was about 22". 3 weeks later, they have hit 42"!! You're 40% indica girls- slow down!

I love to put them out in the sun- but scared to death the neighbors will see me. When I put them out yesterday to take a few pics, I am pretty sure the only animals that saw me were SQUIRRELS! Those things rule the roost here and they never say a word!!

Yeah, be worried about eyes. Keep them inside, please. You'll stay much more happy that way. Keep those girls going until they fill out! Peace. Nice work!

if you really want to take a clone or two,,im sure u can find some small area to keep them alive, even if u only have one room. but whatever your already 3 weeks into flowering..think about that next time..and some low stress training.

Loose Lips Sink Ships. I am very quiet about my grow. I don't even have a house mate for this reason. They are now at day freaking 43!! I didn't switch them to 12/12 until they were already 22" and nearly 2 months. Now they are about 48" and putting out some amazing licorice like perfume. I am a little slow I know. What's the hurry?

FlO is a most amazing variety. It is 60/40 Sativa Indica. They are getting so large that they are about to fall over! I have put garden stakes in 3/4 of them to keep them from falling over. Harvest time is nigh!

I just finished growing out Ice and AI. 2 plants each under 400 Watts. Mine went from 18" to 40+ inches in 2 weeks and finished at 48 +- inches.

Yours should slow down soon. I had to prop mine up because the branches got so heavy. Toward the end the main colas were so heavy I had to ties them up too.

Good luck with it. I'd leave them inside where the light will always be consistent in terms of day/night length. IMO the less you mess with them the better. Also putting them outside subjects them to insects, disease, and maybe even pollination.

Good luck
