Forgot to add perlite to seedling mix

Ya I'm an idiot. I planted 6 germinated seeds into solo cups with coco and later realized I didn't add perlite. My mind has been totally preoccupied lately. Bad excuse I know. Is this even a big deal? I will obviously add it when I transplant them later.

It's only been a day but I don't want to do that. Makes me cringe thinking of digging around and breaking a tail or something.

well you can over water in coco when seedling or clones are too small with not enough roots.

but i would never put perlite or anything else in coco.

Interesting....Thank for the replies. This is only my third run using coco by the way. 5 of 6 already broke soil

I've never looked back since I started using coco.

My grow partner likes to run dwc, but I almost always toss the new clones in coco:biggrin:
No worries about water temps etc.

Seedlings though, can damp off if watered too soon and too much in coco.

I made the same mistake some cycles ago, when i changed the cup before the blooming, I added the perlite (20% of total), bye
