Forced to light bleach, how do i have the least damage?

Imagine being in a situation where your complete space was filled and you're halfway through flower. The led is too close and the space is too small, leaving no room for adjustment or training possible. I'm sure this has happened to many people.

What kind of things would people suggest to have the least amount of damage?

Something that would make sense to me would be to lower the humidity to a range where the plant transpires most freely, like 40%.

Anyone else have any kind of ideas, maybe nutritional?

Maybe you could cover a few of the LEDs closest to the plants? Or make something similar to a photography light scrim or diffusion panel to dim and soften the light?

.. With higher temps and lumens comes the need to facilitate higher humidity, feed strength, co2 levels, etc to increase metabolism and slow transpiration.

If you don't have the vertical clearance for led's, don't use them. Try pinching branches. Flower with a MH through stretch. Use cool tubes. Lux meters. IR thermometers. Ripen formulas. Wider/shallower containers for your medium. String. Ties. Clips. Cages. Screen. Dim your lights. Shade your plants. Be resourceful.

Keep reading. There's always next season. :comfort:

You can buy shade cloth rated by the % of light it allows thru. Most nurseries sell by the foot off a roll. Good luck. -granger

The girls are both mainlines to 4 and 8 respectably under my diy cob led. (cxb3590 3500k 72v x4 on 600ma drivers x4). They were flowered early, but i didn't really expect the intensity of the light to be so strong nor the stretch so extreme.

I have them at 11-12" away, bent and pulled down to the point that everything is FULL.

I have a terribly tiny space and no room for clones or anything, so the stretch is always a surprise. This time, it was more of a nightmare.

I'm just looking for proven ways to reduce the harm done, such as add some extra magnesium to help with photosynthesis or raise your temperature or something similar.

I'll try raising humidity for beginners and see what that does.
