Can it be for Uncles too? 2 of my nephews have came back from Bagdad with head injuries. 1 other nephew is in Afghanistan still.
Also, my yardboy informed me he had enisted and was heading off to basic training soon. I got pretty damn mad at him. Too innocent. Seems the recruiters have it thru his mind he wont see any action. Right. Thats fine. I'm sharpening the ol' Ruana right now. Thinking about gettin his trigger finger. The Marnies won't wan't him anymore. He'll hate me today, but he'll love me tommarow.

On that day when they handed her the flag the women never shed a tear for she knew HER SON died with honor and she was proud. The look in her eye I had seen only twice in the 10 years I knew her,the first time was at graduation. I have posted this before,no matter if you are for the war or not over in a far off land somewhere in this little world of ours is a scared kid that has either bagged your groceries mowed your lawn or maybe washed your car but the bottom line is over there somewhere is a kid that has made contact with you in your life and he or she is willing to die tonight because he or she believes it is the right thing to do.
Don't think about the politics the oil or the money think about that kid because he or she is already thinking about YOU.
