I would argue a good setup to do whats known as hot knife......its kind of a 2 person process...The Ideal set up includes a glass tube to use to catch the smoke...the ideal setup is that of an old pyrex glass peculator stove top coffee pot....the inner tube is like a long flat funnel made of pyrex... ,
Anyway the person taking the "hit" needs a needle with a chunk of nice bud on it and the glass tube....he holds the glass pipe and bud on a pin in position with both hands ready to take the hit slowly and steadily as it rolls off the knives...
the second person controls 2 stainless steel kitchen butter knives wedged into the coils of an electric burner....once hot and the smoker is ready,,,Take the hot knives and squish the bud the smoker is holding with the pin really good rocking the knives a little on the buds,,,releasing the smoke...
you get really high and the smoke has a "toasted" taste,,,its pretty smooth actually

The very best taste possible, in my opinion, is from my old Jamaican steam pipe..

Those steam pipes are real cool, i would like to try one out someday. For me, i go with a simple glass spoon or chillun that had been freshly cleaned when trying out new varieties, i think you get the purest taste that way...but i dont bother other than when trying new stuff.
so cool have my grandfathers kief pipe from when he was stationed in africa ww2

A loose pack in the Arizer, for most strains modern strains; slimey, goopy, solventy, weed-lemon-sewery caked up low temp strains, annoyingly goopy sour stuff that only comes from quality soil.
Not another vape I've used keeps those snot blowing lung cleaning, tongue twisting lip puckering goop-overload flavors in that unadulterated state of danky "goopness". Not that I dislike the more concentrate-hash flavor of other vapes, but the Arizers are one of a kind when it comes to letting true northwest dank genetics shine.

IME, the glueless Club paper are awesome but a pain to roll right since you literally have to tear the paper to get it to stick. Can't roll as fat a joint as I want to so I use Randy's Roots wired papers when I do consume a J.
Lately however, I've been using my bong to take big ol' vape hits. The taste is there every single time and it isn't compromised by unburnt residues left over from the last hit.
A glass pipe only last for a couple bowls unless it is cleaned every couple bowls.
Flowers fuck up a bong in no less than two hits, IMO, ruining any flavors that may have been experienced. Especially when smoking, what I've been told were, snappers. (a one hit bowl)
