For optimum lumens what size cab

hi everyone i am interested in building my own growcab,

i only want too use 400m/h for veg then switch too 400watt hps.

i read i need 20 (min) to 60 (max) watts per square foot.

so i want too build my own cab to size, so i get most lumens from my light..

i dont mind using air cooled lighting.i am wanting too crop 6oz
per grow..

50-60 watts per sq.ft. delivers excellent results. Some people seem to get good results using 40 watts per sq.ft. in flat white or reflectorized enclosures.

hi jhhnn thanks i am thinking of buying.

a HOMEbox Evolution Q100 and using 600watts

this would give me 66watts per sq.ft.

thing is i dont no if there is enough vents on the tent

as i want too use ducting at bottom of the tent for light proof intake ?

I am running a 400w bulb in an 120x60 centimeter tent (120W from SJ) it's working out good for me. I would say 100x100 would be good enough with a 400w too. If you don't mind the extra noise needed to cool the 600w and running it in an air cooled hood, more is always better, right?

i am looking to run a cab more for stealth i only want 5oz -6oz a grow

so i need too build a cab too suit my needs i want smaller watt so less extraction
