Just read about this on Amazon, it definitely looks interesting.
Its just hard to believe that will last for 6 months for only $28.00

well when i went into my local hydro he said they had been up 3 months already and they clearly let out alot of co2 was stood next to it :p it also lets of a fungus sorta smell probably a good masking agent for weed in bloom. ima try one when i get my box up and running put some documentation down :D

It is cheap enough to try, but there are a lot of negative reviews saying it does nothing, even with 4 in a single room.

waste of cash . co2 needs to be consistant. but I have never tried em myself. way back I tried all kinds of producing co2 with no real positive benefits. It might help a bit if co2 levels are real low. but don't expect results like you would get from proper co2 setup.i have had friends try em and they all moved on to real co2 setups. I have a co 2 generator and a bottled setup too. you would be better off with an airlock and brew your booze. atleast then you can drink the booze. someone with a co2 meter needs to record the levels over time to see whats what.

Great way to help answer the OP's question.

If you have no experience with the product then why even reply, especially when your reply has nothing to do with this thread?

Please, either help the thread move along by posting something relevant to the thread,or just don't post.

OP,I have never used any c02 enrichment but I do know that if I was looking into using it,I would definitely go with a tank (if in a small area) or generator/burner (large space).

Are all other aspect of your grow room dialed in?

If not then I really see no point in adding c02.IMO you shouldn't even use c02 supplementation unless all other aspects of your grow are dialed and you are running a sealed room meaning no ventilation, just A/C and humidifier/dehumidifier.Of course you would want a little ventilation during the dark cycle when plants stop consuming c02 and start spitting/transpiring what they didn't use up during lights on,as well as too battle humidity.

well if your grow area was relatively small and very well sealed, but cool enough still and you weren't growing many plants then it will make a difference, but they are not really practical in bigger grows where you probably prefer to know for sure that your money is showing a return..

these are designed to work with cfl/led grows that you can seal. i simply added this to the thread board because its a new co2 product and wanted to see if anyone was willing to use them and see the results. but all i got back was bitching from pro growers instead of tips.

These are not new, they have been around for awhile. A quick search will yield a couple different threads on them. Also if people already are using actual methods of co2 production why would they be interested in these?

Anyone i have seen use them saw no real benefits and made the upgrade to tanks/generators when they could.
