Fool proof pollinating techniques?

This is how I do it.

Collect pollen in a plastic baggie or cup.

Isolate the girl to be pollenated outside of grow room w/ all fans turned off.

Use a small paint brush to brush a small amout of pollen on a small bud.

Put a plastic baggie over the pollinated bud and twist tie the bottom shut for 24 hrs.

Before returning the girl to the bloom room I spray down the entire plant and pot with water to try and kill any pollen that might be clinging to the plant.

Obviously it's a good idea to change clothes and wash hands/ arms or any other exposed skin before returning to the bloom room.

I've done this a few times and I always get a few stray seeds on other plants in the room when I'm trying to make seeds. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong here or any suggestions?

I've been thinking about such a issue myself. Living in a one bedroom appt. has it's problems with making seed.

Do you think it's stray pollen on the female that spreads, or from the males letting pollen into the air currents.

Where do you flower your male?

thats exactly how i pollenate...it could be from pollen in the air or some females in the room throwing tiny single nanners near the lower growth of the plant.

It could be pollen in the air probably. I usually only flower 1 male and pollenate as soon as I see pollen dropping. The male I have going right now is on the opposite side of my basement from the bloom room. Which also is on the opposite side of the air intakes for the bloom room. I don't keep the males around after that. I douse them with water and bury them in my compost bin.

I know it only takes a bit of pollen flying around and it can spread like crazy, but I'm pretty careful with the stuff.

I have had nanners bust out on a few plants before, that's not the issue here.
