Folded leaves and other odities?

Hello all,
Ive been growing for a few months now and am having a continuing problem. I get about a week into 12/12 and the leaves on my otherwise very healthy plants start doing strange things. Ive asked quite a few local hyro store people there opinion but I'm not getting anywhere. So I come to you for help. The new leaves that would come in at the flower sites would colapse or fold downward at the central vane. It then spread to other mid aged leaves then the oldest leaves down low became spotted with small brown/yellow spots. Overal the growth has slowed. I grow in 3 gal. containers with 3 parts perlite 1 part vermiculite on a drain table into a 10 gal aerated resevoir. I have 1 Jamaican Grape and 3 420 plants in flower now they were very healthy and strong right before this. I have filled out the questionare the best I could and I will include photos (sorry some are under HPS)
I have never been able to find info on a good watering scedule for my medium so that could be one of my problems. I water 10 min good flow through drip rings every 1 hour. At the end of a dry cycle the pots feel light and the plants transpirate well so thats when i water. I recently found out I need a fert above Pro Bloom in P K so I have now switched to Hydroplex .5-4-10. With my first batch I used low levels of feed 500 to 800 PPM this batch I started hotter at 500-600 and now 2 months later I'm at 800-900 PPM (1EC to 500PPM).
Thanks for any help.

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? Switched to Pro Bloom about 3 days after seeing first flowers 3 days ago switched to Hydroplex fearing phos. Def.
What order are you mixing your nutrients? First raise PH to 7.80 then add Pro Bloom or Grow followed by Cal-Mag plus, Sweet, Liquid Karma, Tea then stabilize the PH
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? Right now 950 PPM (1EC to 500 ppm)
What is the pH of the "Tank"? 5.60-6.00

What is the current Air Flow? 170cfm through the sealed light enclosure the air is draw from near a cement floor outside the grow chamber through the light enclosure then the fan and outside. I have air ionizers before and after the lamp.
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? Inside the sealed room the air is vented for ten minutes every hour new air is brought in through a HEPA filter and exhausted through a Can filter. There is an oscillating fan blowing below the light above the canopy
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? no
Is your water HARD or SOFT?30 PPM
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? Tap
Are you using water from a water softener? no
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched The 420' were lolly popped due to hermi. problem in genetics two weeks ago. (watched very closely for any other signs all 420 plants showed the same signs at all the same nodes while my Jamaican Grape didnt hermi)
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When?none
Are plant's infected with pest's? No

Are you finding your plants take longer to flower than normal? Looks to me like you have too much N. Too much N in flowering will slow growth. They are curled under and dark green, you may have added too much N during the veg stage. Go easier on the N and up the P, K. I can also see slight nute burn on the tips of your leaves. It could well be a potassium deficiency, the leaves curl and the edges burn and die. As i said, less N and a good amount of P, K should help.

Mitchyboy thanks for the reply. I dont seem to have probs until Im in the flowering cycle. Durring the veg cycle they are text book plants beatiful green. I didnt have a good understanding about the extra P and K that they need durring flower until recently. Ive been using pure blend pro bloom 2.5-2-5 all the way through the flower cycle as per local advice. I just switched over to Hydroplex .5-4-10 a few days ago and I think it is helping. The real problem Ive got is figuring out the watering cycle some people tell me im drowning my plant others feel the look dry. I hoping to get more response and some new ideas here as opposed to what I get at the hydro stores.

Festezio,

When in doubt I've always run a test plant. For example, put it on water or half strength of your current nutrition.

I've seen that before but only in a few strains. My friends and I had a theory that it happened cause the room was too small and light too big and as they flowered they wanted a little releif from the intensity of the light. Along the same lines with so much light reflecting off the walls (which I covered in mylar) the leaves might have curled to just catch light coming off the walls. I think it was 2.5 x 3.5 ft closet and I had 1000W hortilux right over the plants. Just a thought that maybe lighting has something to do with it. You look pretty detailed from your original post and like you aren't fucking around a bag of dirt and a jar of miracle grow from the local grocery store. Your plants look overall pretty healthy so hopefully yeild is still good and sticky.

all you need to do is flush. Then follow up the flush with light nutes so you don't get a def.
The reason it shows up in flower is that the nutrients have been accumulating and now the plant does not need that extra N. Flush, finish the flush with moderate nutes and you'll see the new growth flatten out.

"What is the canopy temperature?68 to 73 degrees Fahrenheit (this is pretty accurate)
What is the Day/Night Temp? coldest lights off 58 hottest lights on 73"

It's too cold, add a heater with a thermostat...

Also I've used ferts with an ec of 3.2 every water and never had a problem

"Inside the sealed room the air is vented for ten minutes every hour new air is brought in through a HEPA filter and exhausted through a Can filter. There is an oscillating fan blowing below the light above the canopy
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? no"

More exhaust and your plants will darken up better.

2.5-2-5, thats why. You have more nitrogen than potassium. The plant needs more potassium and phosphorus during flower. Excessive N slows growth in flower. What you are using now sounds a bit more reasonable but you need a booster to give it more p,k than n. 3 weeks before finnish try using pk 13/14, you will notice a difference. 58 is a bit cold, you want a 10 degree decline, 63. 50's is not too good for them
