FMS Black Widow?

Anyone tried this out? How does it compare to original Mr Nice Black Widow?

We have 2 FMS Black Widow growing in an outdoor site now, won't see them again until late August, but not to harvest until mid October. We have 3 more Black Widow seeds, keeping them back for our next indoor grow. Bought them knowing it was more like the MNS BW, more variation in plants, but supposed to be very potent weed.

We've grown the FMS Super Skunk, and they were strong, uniform, excellent smoke. Identical plants, big, healthy. Grown hydro indoors. Flushed for several weeks, and cured for over a month, it was really nice, kickass weed.

It may have something to do with the fact that youre in the wrong forum. FemaleSeeds has some info on BW.

FMS Grapefruit is good.

Big Shit. Crappy yields, nasty scent. The potency is ok, so is the high -sativaish and a bit trippy. But it is far away from a legendary strain, what it is mentioned to be. It is neither white-coated nor extraordinary. There are much better strains out there.

In my experiance female seeds are nothing but quality, try the Iced grapefruit its a triple gold star winner in my book !

You can find some info on the FMS forum. As far as i know is very unstable stuff, if you do some breeding maybe can be interesting to play with otherwise go for their WW that is a refined and better version of BW in any aspect.

I have ran FMS since 2005 and have never had a hermie or been disappointed with one of their strains.

My only experiance with FMS is of thier poor customer services after I contacted them about making a large order and didnt get a reply... so I guess I havent had "the pleasure"...

MNS BW is $70 a pack at least...
Anyway this is from the FMS Team to clarify:

Our Black Widow comes very close to the original White Widow genetics.

We started working with the original White Widow in the mid 90's. At the time she was a very popular in Holland as a clone, but the seeds from it were useless because it was a sativa-ish multiple hybrid. Very unstable with loads of pheno's and low yielding.
So slowly but surely we started to cross in resinous indica's and we got real positive feedback that it was such a good Widow.
Then we started stablelising her on that indica pheno. Around 2002 we had a stable uniform indica type of White Widow. People have always been raving about this type with great results and enourmous yields.
Funnily enough we never got one complaint that our White Widow was practically nothing like the original White Widow anymore! More indica-ish than the original sativa-ish. Although the end product is very similar.

Then we thought that it wasn't a bad idea to bring back something original again, just for those interested. Hence the original Black/White Widow (Shanti).
We're not sure if we will keep this one, as it is very instable. Mind you, there might be some very nice individuals in there. Maybe a nice one for the connaisseurs.
