Flushing nutes accidentally?

It just occurred to me that I may have been flushing nutes from my plants all season long. I give ph balanced water in between each nute feeding (weekly). I usualy give 1/2 to 1 gallon water twice between nutes. During veg this was fine, but during flowering, could this have slowed bud development?

Clarification: soil is just soil without nutrients in it. I have been giving them gen hydro nutes and supplements in the water weekly with plain water in between. Ph 6.2 to 6.4. Why did i do it this way? Its what i had and I'm cheap. I did it this way because thats what i did inside with my resevoir. I dont think that was a good idea since i was flushing away the nutes i was adding. Until now there has been no noticeable problem except slow flowering. Taking 2 weeks per normal flowering week development.

I wouldn't necessarily call what you did a flush. If you are not seeing any deficiencies, there is no reason to worry. Most soil grows suggest plain pH water between feedings. Likely you are seeing the difference between soil and hydro growth.

The question is: would watering with nutes when dry better than intermittently? The only problem I have is longer than expected flowering development.

I like to water feed water feed...etc.

Its good to give plain ph'd water in between feedings to discourage salt build up.

I think you did just fine.

Good luck with your garden!
