Flushing autoflowers before harvest?

Should autoflowers be flushed a few weeks before harvest despite their short grow time?

My plants are about 4 weeks from harvest.... and with the soil blend I've been using, they've been growing great with no deficiencies and I haven't really given them any nutes yet..... I think I might start though because the leaves(some of the leaves) are starting to darken in color to what looks like a Phosphorus Def..... though do autoflowers need to be flushed before harvest, with a bunch of pure water or..?

Btw, this is an outside grow, and it rains atleast 2-3 times a week, no root rot problems, so I'm assuming they like it.

Yes, of course with all weed plants.

If it rains 2-3 times a week over all you should be good on flushing. But won't hurt to flush more as long as the roots have time to dry. If you stick your index finger 2-3" into the soil and if feels dry dry or moist towards the bottom. Then that is your answer. The more the better imo better the weed taste, but its a question of how much rain and how much over water.

You don't want to create root rot or bud rot if you're pouring water directly on the plants.

The plants shouldn't root rot as long as the soil has decent airation, which I would say mine does.

You said "The more the better imo better the weed taste, but its a question of ho wmuch rain and how much over water".....

Sorry but that made absolutely no sense... I would guess you were extremely high when you posted that...right now I'm sober and having a hard time understanding what that meant.... as with your post overall.

I understand the part of checking to see if the soil is moist.... but I'm not sure what that has to do with flushing.

I grow my autos outdoors in pots. I don't flush per se, but do not feed any nutes for the last 2-3 weeks or so. I've not noticed any unwanted taste in my smoke.

so if i was using lc's soilless mix #1 in 3 to 5 gallon pots with 1 plant per pot, i need to flush 4 weeks before harvest? i am planning on feeding with plain water because of the organics in the soil will keep the plants fed during lifespan.

We usually check the trichomes with the microscope and as soon we see CBN we start with a rapid flush. Should we apply the same method with autoflowering strains or it must be done sooner?

It's just an autoflower plant...it's not a new type of plant or way to grow...still the same curing process bro.

In your case there is really no need to flush at all. Since you are only using water there is nothing to flush out.

mmm, I think the main question is: Does THC degradate into CBN faster in a AF plant? So much people harvested AF plants, somebody should have a good answer to this

Um...? I don't remember asking that lol.

I have my harvest date at like a week after the usually 8 week finishing period, so I'm harvesting at 9 weeks.... since most people who have grown it outside said it needs a few extra days to finish usually.

sorry, I did ask it in post #7.. hope is not OT cause I'm dealing for the first time with a autoflowering flush (starting tomorrow, indoor at day 79 from seed). I estimate the date I should harvest but then I matters on the environment..
