Flowers in outdoor grow slower?? Does 12/12 kick start budding vs. outdoor schedule?

I have some plants I vegged indoors and am budding outdoors, but they seem to be taking their time budding. I know that as the light becomes less every day different strains will start to bud. My questions is if you throw them into a 12/12 schedule do they bud faster? I have two of the same strains and one seemed to be much farther along in an indoor environment. They both started to bud around the same time but the outdoor was getting about 14 hours of light when it started to bud, that was about the same time I took one of them indoors. Now that I need the space I took the one that was inside back out and I am hoping it wont start to veg since its getting more hours light than it was indoors? Anyone had this same experience?

Hi REdye Joe. I have loads of experience doing 12/12 from seed and yes, you will start flowering fast.its funny your bringing your inside out now.. because im actually bringing my outside in! Im not sure what will happen bringing it back out at this point. I wouldn't expect as good results as leaving her inside, that's for sure. She is not going to like the extra 2 hours of sunlight, that might really piss her off. good luck, I m looking forward to hearing the results!!

Guess part of what I am wanting to know is peoples results with lowering the light hours until they start to bud and keeping it at that point vs. continuing to lowering the light to 12/12. I know that the outdoor of the same variety is showing buds, but I have never tried to bud under the minimum amount of dark cycle for the whole flower period?? anyone ever tried this and kept it at the minimum vs continuing to lower tell 12/12??

red eye, I believe you should Always keep your flowering cycle at 12/12 the entire way through or you will have problems.

Yes it does seem that the outdoors slower introduction to the lower light seems to have a slower onset but they have been out for almost 4 days and are showing no signs of wanting to go back into veg.
