One of the greatest people I've ever known died this weekend at 33 years of age. Nikita was an amazing soul, a hard worker, and taught me everything I knew about herb prior to finding and joining this community. She was the first person to ever introduce me to a plant that has done so much good in my life. She left behind 2 kids and a community who loved her very much.
In honor of Nikita, I have a request for the community: If you have the funds, make a donation to local charities in your area that help the homeless and hungry. If you lack funds but have time, volunteer at these places instead. If you have the seeds, grow a solid plant in Nikitas honor. Post pictures of it here if you're the type who does so, but I understand if you choose not to. Nikita always loved herb in all forms, so seeing plants thrive in her name would be one of the most fitting tributes I can think of.
