Flowering with T5 floros

Been using t5 floros for a while in veg and love what they do for my young vegging plants.

Now, faced with some security issues that that make me hesitant to fire up my 600s the 4' x 8 lamp t5 thats been used for veg looks like it will be put to use as my flowering lamp.

This grow is just meant to keep me in head stash and is just a bridge between here and there. That being said, anybody have some experience flowering under these lamps?

The plan is a 4' x 2' scrog under a 4' x 8 lamp t5 with mixed spectrum lamps.
4 plants in 3 gal pots filled with my organic flowering mix.

This is all goes in a standard hydrohut with a 4" vortex drawing air through a carbon filter and creating some negative pressure in the hut.

Thats my plan and I will have pics up in a new thread in week.

Comments, questions and critical opinions are welcome.

Heres a pick of some of the candidates for the project.

Keep the canopy even and close to the lights like in that second picture and you'll do fine. If you can keep the lights like that you'll have great results.

Nice plants! Right now there are at least two other growers on this board using T5's. Do a search for "D Rock" and "T5GrowerNow" and you can check out their grows.

Only thing I will add is my Tek 48 runs on the hot side. I learned the hard way. Check out my grow if you want but be sure and have your fans handy. I got a temp with probe for plant top temp which has helped on my second venture. I tried again on the latest project to drop the lights closer and they did not like it. Watch for leaf curling like a canoe. Of course ambient temperature and humidity is different anyway and if you dont live in a hot place you will have no problems. It will heat my 4 x 5 closet to 95 degrees without the exhaust running. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!!
