Well, it's just like the title says. I'll post pics and information for everyone to see as we flower out some kick-ass strains.
Five plants, five strains. Four are clones, one from seed.
Here's the starting lineup:
Train Wreck (Arcata) clone- gift from a friend (thanks G). I tried some he did and really liked it. How can you turn down the chance to grow a real legend?
Amnesia 99 (Amnesia Haze X Cinderella 99) clone- another gift-same friend. I had the opportunity to smoke some last fall and was very impressed. Nice taste, as I usually don't care for "hazey" -tasting smoke. It was a real treat.
Melon from seed- from some good weed my buddy grew last year. This stuff smelled AND tasted like watermelon and was quite potent.
Royal Hawaiian (Reeferman Seeds) clone- I've done this strain for a few years now since getting it from RMS. The finest cross of Hawaiian indica and sativa. It's hard to believe there's any sativa in it at all when you see how it grows. Looks like a little Afghani, but is so sweet and tasty and will put you down good-lol. One of my favorite strains- definately a keeper.
Grape Fruit (Reeferman Seeds) clone- Reef himself gifted me a pack of GF last year and we found a nice pheno that grew short, finished fast, tasted great and packed quite a punch. We've been running clones of it between me, my brother and the buddy I got the Melon seed from now ever since.
I vegged them all for 3-4 weeks, but the TW and A99 clones were physically larger than the other three, so after a few weeks it was time to flip the light. The yield may be down a little bit on the RH and GF due to the fact I usually veg them 5-6 weeks, but I only have so much space and the TW and A99 (the more sativa-dom strains) were getting pretty big.
I've also cut clones a few days ago, so hopefully there will be more to pass around to my buddies, which means I can keep all these strains "on tap" without having to keep everything here. The three of us have been able to juggle 9 strains doing it like this for the last few years.
For those who don't like to read that much, I promise that this post will be the longest one from me in this thread-lol. It will be mostly pics and quick updates. I'm going to depend on the rest of you all to furnish some commentary.
So here we go.
Three days flower.
