Flowering/The Fattening of buds.

Hi everyone!
I have been growing a few times. Different strains every time.
I am a huge follower in growing diaries and try to follow every good advice.

But... every single time the flower is suppose to be fattening up, it seem to stop. The outcome has never been dissapointing, quality wise. But the quantity..
(Ofc all strains are different in pretty much every stage of the plants development, but this does not seem to differ on my grows)

The only time i had an insane quantity outcome was the first time i grew.
4 ladies in a tiny wardrobe without any airflow (except for a fan). No out, no in airflow.
No nutrients and no quality soil whatsoever.
Without any experience, and with really shitty circumstances it went really good!

But for some reason i have never got that good of a result again.
Today i got a nifty tent, follow nutrient schemes, really good airflow, perfect humidity control etc etc.
The flowers never seem to be fattening up tho...

Why?

Maybe the microbes need to be changed in the later part of growth. I use rootwise, and switch from "microbe complete" to "bio phos". Is the amount of soil sufficient to support the mature plants?

What about the other food - light?

If you're doing everything 'right', it must be the genetics. :shucks:

Do you know what strain you were growing the 1st time?

Welcome to hell. Once the nutrient companies have your money they might as well have your soul too. They own your plants. You're just leasing them.

I thank God every day that there was no hydroponic shop where I grew up. I'd be as tarded as the rest of you if so. You already know what I mean he problem is but will spend the next decade trying to solve it with barcoded bottles.

Are you growing hydro? I did it for many years and got very good yeilds, 1.5g/w or more. I found that with nutrients, less is more! When i first started i was using the amounts suggested on the bottle, but eventually i was using half the quantities they said and got great results. Nutrient makers just want to sell more of their wares.
One thing i did learn in my 20yrs of doing it was to grow the same plant consecutively for at least 3 grows and get to know what she wants. The only problem with doing that is that you then have the same weed to smoke for a long time; After the first few years though, you'll end up with a large selection of well matured buds.

Good luck with your future grows.

Less is more especially towards the end! I end up giving just water at the end. I personally found that too many nutrients don’t allow them to swell or grow as many trichomes.
Also you don’t need all that stuff they try to sell you.

"Small lights = small buds" add some watts, when you flip or first see pistils and the buds will grow bigger. 😎
