Flowering Room Intake

Hello all,
I need to construct an air intake for my flowering room, but it needs to be completely light-tight as well. I was thinking of using ducting but I am clueless as to how to go about making this work. Any advice appreciated.

Peace,

2 elbow fittings put together, twist em and they will break off any light.

Remeber if it's passive intakes you need to dubble the size of the intake compared to your exhaust hole or make 2 holes.

stoping light you can turn 90 degree with flexable duct work till no more light... hum I think when man was looking for the answer to all god reached out of the sky and slapped us on the back of the head and said here ya go its duct tape.

also, place some black filter foam in the intake and output of the ducting to cut off light and also prevent debris/bugs from being transplanted around your grow area.

Cesartime the black filter foam you speak of is that material next to the charco material you can build filters for oliminating the smell? Is that at Home Depot? Most importantly does it work?

Got a dryer kit. Took out the flap. Mounted through the wall. Fashioned a plentum for 6" duct. Ran 6" duct 90 degrees and then 3 feet to squirel cage motor mounted at 90 degrees. The filter is in the hood outside of building (the dryer kit) and it is made of a thin membrane to keep out dust and bugs. Total cost was $30 No light what so ever and tons of fresh air.
