Flowering prob. with fan leaves

A female about two months flowering is having all her fan leaves dry out, turn funky brown/yellow colours(even with bluish spots on some), and die. It's also happening to some of the smaller crystally leaves. The buds seem vibrant and crystalized, but some are having the smaller leaves turn dry and funky.

The watering regiment has been clear, relaxed tapwater. Basically good tap water left in open two liters at least 24 hours so the funky crap evaporates. There is definately sufficient holes in the bottom of the container to allow for drainage.

Should it get chopped early so it doesn't spread to the buds or have you seen this before?

Two months of flowering...seems like they should be about done anyway. Chop when trichomes are ready or "wing it" and judge by whether more pistols are turning red than newly appearing.

You will really have to provide more info about your soil, ph, fertilizer(specific %), and any other details about what you are doing to your plants to get a solution maybe for future grows.

All I have fertilized with was a really weak batch of Peters Super Blossom Booster. That was over a month ago. I used to use seabird guano years ago. Never had these problems when working with shit.

Don't have a PH tester.

I did use a homemade lemon peel/crushed garlic clove tea regiment about 7 weeks ago. I just microwaved that in some water to make the tea and strained it. It was to kill some gnat infestation because I didn't feel safe using mosquito poisons. Worked miraculously. I think I've flushed the remains of that out thoroughly with lots of straight water.

There's barely any hairs that have turned on the main bud ...
maybe 10% max.

I have a 20x jewelers loupe. Combined with my digie cam I can probably take some nice close ups of the Crystals.
Thanx for the quick response.

Seems to be the same problem I'm having..... probably over fertlized due to time released nutrients already being present in the soil when you started them.

Any clue as to the strains lineage? A picture would help us help you.

cn you answer these questions and post pics if possible

ARE YOU USING?

SOIL:
What STRAIN are you growing?
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?)
What is the age of your plants?
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc)
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot)
What substrate/medium are you using? (percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?)
What Nutrient's are you using? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used?
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?
What method of pH test was administered?
When was your last water?
When was your last feeding?
What size bulb are you using?
What is the distance to the canopy?
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity)
What is the canopy temperature?
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist?
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched?
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when?
Are plant's infected with pest's?

Peter's ferts don't contain calcium and little magnesium. You should add 1/4 teaspoon powdered gypsum and 1/4 teaspoon epsom salts per gallon of water along with the peters.(unless you recently repotted and used dolomite lime) You should adjust the ph of the fert. water after mixing. You can use these to do it: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=31294&highlight=sulfuric+acid Ph test strips can be used to test ph till you can afford a better meter. You can get the strips at a petstore in the aquarium section. I would use about 1 teaspoon peters per gallon of every time you water (I am assuming your formula of peters contains 10% nitrogen)

shouldnt you wait to give any info before you know his growing conditions?

im not trying to be a bitch to you or anything.... im just saying its better to wait to give out info afte you know about there conditions..... its less confusing and better to diagnosis
