flowering light times

someone has suggested that varying the hours during flowering will boost yield
2 weeks @10hrs
3 weeks @14hrs
3 weeks @12hrs
is this bollocks?
will it just stress them into oblivion?
is there many combinations?

yes its bollocks because 14hrs will piss off your plants.

i wouldnt go above 12.5hrs. giving less than 12 is done to try and kick the plants into starting flower sooner.
but tbh just set the timer to 12/12 and leave it

I'd like to confrim the bollocks by saying thats a bunch of dookie,many pheno's will want to revert back to veg with 10 hours of dark.Stick with 12/12 and keep it simple and if anything increase dark hours from 12/12 not light hours

Whatever you do you must have 12 hours of uninterrupted DARK. The dark matters. The light not so much.

Agreed, allthough many plants will flower with 13/11 the safe route is 12/12 that will set all strains into flower
