Hey im about 6wks into flowering and was wondering is this normal for the leaves to start yellowing turning a pale green the big fan leaves are yellowing at the tips slightly but i was curious about the fan leaves turning the pale green with yellow in them most of the trichs are cloudy and some are starting to turn amber so im going to chop down in awhile im only using liquid kool bloom and diamond nectar as well as hydroguard... since im using no nitrogen what so ever in the past 1wk i was thinking this might have cause this is it anything to worry about???

nice thats what i was doing i didnt want to just shocking them by throwing them into just straight water my ppms went from 1100 to about 700 right now over the past 1wk so my questions is how long should i let my plant flush for is my next question... with just plain water? when i do a change out should i just put plain RO water is what im using ph'd to 5.8 would that be good and how long should i flush...

i'm guessing they're in soil correct?
how long is the flowering time on the strain you have?

most people flush for the last two weeks of flowering time, some people go as much as 3.

you want the plant to use up any available nutes that are left in the soil/leaves. this forces the plant to use up any reservations it may have collected over its lifetime.
Flushing is necessary to get a clean burning, clean tasting herb in the end.
normal ph'd water will work, some people don't even ph it.
in soil it's good to be around 6.5-7

oh, well then i was always curious as to what the flushing method was for hydro.
To tell you the truth, you don't have to worry about your plants in the last week or so.
they'll do what they can to finish out and survive, but you have to understand that on the harvest day, they're getting the chop whether they like it or not! hehe

i'd figure 500ppm for the first 9-10 days and clean water-100ppm for the last 4-5.
that's what i would do.

btw nice grow you have there rbk!
first time? good looks! i did pretty well on my first grow too!
hydro looks like a lot of fun, i might try that next time instead of soil. Hopefully get rid of those god damn pest problem!

i know you've been here for a while but welcome aboard! you're almost officially an IC'er! hehe

by the way when you post problems in the infirmary i always find it much easier to get a quick, more direct answer if you post things like:

your setup: lights, nutes, soil/hydro, amount of plants, ambient temp/hum, what (if anything) have you done differently in the passed week or so
.....basically any stress that you're plants might be introduced to.

Keep growin rbk! looks like you're gonna be rewarded after all your hard work!
