Flowering 3" clones...any thoughts?

 Hey all, thanks for your attention!
I'm looking for some opinions on flowering well rooted 3'' clones. They were taken from a very vigorous unknown plant, which is now flowering nicely.
Maybe some input on how much soil they'll each need? Rough estimate on what you think is a good yield mark, from 6 of them. I was also considering doing a micro sog, inside my already-full-but-expandable grow space.
Any thoughts are muchly appreciated, I rarely ask Q's, knowing someone has PROBABLY asked it already, and I do in fact know how to use the search feature, unlike some :nono:

my only advice is that they are well rooted. I transplanted some plants into 1gal containers and switched them to 12/12 the same night and they didnt stretch much from the transplant shock for the first few days of 12/12. Should have known that but i didnt have space for em in the veg box!

1 gal max should do it, but i would let them veg 1 more week. Get grow bags, if they are to tall, cut some inches off of bag.

Thanks fellas! Being a new grower, with all the security risks in the world, just a simple second opinion is pretty hard to come by without you folks! I appreciate it:D

So, I must've cooked up one hell of a dinner for them bitches last night...I just noticed new vigorous growth on 4/5 of them! Mom's definately giving me the feeling these babies will thrive in a 6 plant micro sog. The purpose of adding a small sog into my garden will be stictly for educational reasons. In the near future, I'll be looking to set up an 8'x5' DIY DWC SOG, so I figure I had better hurry up and get smart!

Thanks again, for boredom sake, maybe I'll post a pic once I've got them all lined up.

I just put some Strawberry Diesel into flower a few days ago and they were only about 3-4 inches tall. They should be around 8-12 inches when finished. Depending on strain some will stretch alot and some will just stretch alittle and fill in. Flowering clones this small is not a good idea if it's a pure Indica strain or mostly Indica strain. These tend to just fill in and barely stretch. So you might end up with a 5 inch clone with a single bud. Strains with more Sativa in them will stretch more though.

Wait...What?

If it is a sativa-dominant variety, then flower it immediately. The longer you veg a sativa, the more it will stretch during flower. I flower my sativas as soon as they're rooted and I still end up having issues with head space.

Make sure you give tiny clones that are going into flower more nitrogen in flowering, it'll help to add nodes and make the stretch a bit less stretchy looking.

Good stuff...thanks guys!

So after pulling just shy of an ounce out of 11 litres of 50/50 compost perlite,(not bad for my first grow,eh?) I've decided to restock my (friends)flower room with them and grow about 32 plants in a stadium style sog. If my calculations are correct, I should pull a solid 2 lbs per cycle this way. Now, in all truth, I'm not interested in selling any of my produce, so it looks like I'll have plenty to work with. That's always a good thing, but I hope to one day maybe even market a line of 'organic medication' in capsule form, so I'll need ALOT of 'experimental' ganj!
Happy growin'

*how many spliffs, does it take you to get, to the center Dro-pop?*.....lol:D
