Flower Room With Seprate Environment From Veg Room?

First of all, "Separate" is the correct spelling...

Most designs have the flower room cooled, then passive airflow to veg room, so that the entire grow op is same temp all the time. Close. Same humidity also

Some folks cool the flower room, or keep at a lower Rh than the veg room. Also if you're introducing CO2, my understanding is you want temps and Rh% higher.

Splitting the two rooms would require a lot more farting around, but before I commit to NOT doing it, I thought I'd see if anyone else has differential environments in flower vs. veg

Im planning a two room show and I dont think Im going to even try to control the veg room environment. Im thinking if I add co2 I can let the humidity get up to 70% and just use a cheap dehuey set at 75% and let the heat get up to the mid 80's. As long as Im not using more than 600W or so I think I can get it done without an AC or sharing air with my flowering room.
I might need to rig an exhaust fan and maybe even run it a litter harder during the summer months, but thats cool. Ill just have to keep my res out of the room.
Im actually looking into LEDs for veg because I cant afford to run anymore HID's!

I had planned to link both rooms and recirculate between them, but that means temps and Rh are roughly the same for both rooms. I like the control of having the rooms separated for different temps and humidity, but I'm thinking I'm doubling my work and equipment, perhaps

I dont want to run my flower room warm. Im thinking 77-75 but the veg room Id like to not worry about temps so much. It can be more humid in there also.
Usually around this time of year I can run my T5 without exhausting the room because of ambient temps. If I do exhaust my rooms the RH is pretty low.
When summer hits I have to back the T5 up and exhaust at full power on my 6" vortex with scrubber. When I switch over to a 400W in a cool tube I can control things a bit easier than with the T5 during the summer. I can keep it under 85 in there no problem. I just shut the lights down during the hottest parts of the day.
How many watts are you planning to veg with? Air cooled hoods or cfls?

Flower would be open reflectors. Veg might be MH HID or T5

Once I get past this issue I can finish up the layout. Just don't know if I would find value in separate environments.

rrog ..... this is where a lung room would come in handy . you control the temps in the lung room & draw the intakes from each flower & veg room from the lung room & then exhaust both outside or into a basement or attic space .
I've done both my rooms this way & it just makes controlling the 2 seperate environments easier .

example being a 10 x 10 bedroom that your controlling the temps in with heat & AC . then having a 4 x 8 tent for flowering & a 4 x 4 tent for veg with both tents vented outside . 6" exhaust in the 4 x8 & 4" in the 4 x 4 .... has worked great for me for over 2 years now .

The lung room. My problem is while I have good space for both veg and flower rooms (I'm just growing for me) I would not have a third room. So if I can't use a single system for two somewhat separated rooms, I'll have to unite them and maybe run the temps higher when i drop CO2 during the flower room "day," and run cooler everywhere during the flower room "night."

OP, I am considering a similar room setup and also looking for the best way to achieve veg and flower together while still having a lung room. In my circumstance, I need to sacrifice the ability to veg while I am flowering. Therefore my room would be dual purpose, I would veg in my RWDC setup with T5s or Halides, and when the time is right swap my bulbs for HPS and begin flowering.

I stopped by my local hydro shop a couple days ago and he recommended using my lung room as a veg room as well and just slightly increasing the size of the room to accomodate that. My initial lung room size was 3' x 3' and now it is a little over 4' x 4'. I feel this is too cramped to use for utility/lung/veg. As of late I have been thinking of running a small veg room for a mother and using the rest of my room as veg/flower with one crop going at a time.. nothing staged,

Are you looking to go perpertual or simply staggering veg and flower?

I'm doing perpetual flower, and will be maintaining mothers and clones in the veg room.

I plan to cool the flower room to whatever I need, then pull cool air on a thermostat from the flower room to the veg room, and circulate that back to the flower room. So a loop from flower to veg, back to flower room. That will allow me to keep temps higher in veg if I want.

No dedicated lung room, as the flower room sort of acts like the lung
