flower at 91 degrees no sign heat stress... am I crazy

I do suppliment co2 and this is my first summer in this room, was curios how it would do heat wise with two walls being cement basement walls...

was running a great 86 which seemed perfect w the co2... now im usually running 91 and ond day 93 in last week....

i was freaking but not a sign of heat stress yet. thermometer at base of plant running more like 80-83, the 91 is top of cannopy. I just thought a week into it I would see heat stress but i hear of some co2ers that do 90s as normal temp.

no leave curl, buds growing great, smell is right on.....

is this normal or odd at these temps. rh running in 70s as planned for the co2...

im thinkinng if they are happy at this no reason to add ac....

windycity is correct, 91*F = more strtch but r u in the 1st week of bloom or later? sativa or indica girls? cement walls? like a down stairs basement or exterior cement wall facing the sun?? how was the last run?

I run up to 92 with 12-1500ppm co2 on a dialed system. Things can go wrong quick if you arnt providing a consistent environment tho. You have to be on your game to run numbers like that.

gotta remember sometimes those thermometers fuck up. i had one tell me my tent was 120 degrees right under the light.. but LEAF temp with a laser therm showed 78-82 . lol get something thats not electronic lol.

but right now i got a tent with 1 strain thats fluffy cause of heat issues when my cooltube broke .. but fuck it. ill either just make it into oil or smoke it myself lol. and 1 strain ntakes the heat. 80-90 .. no different really .

i got 3 indica dominant and one satiiva dom. 3 to 5 weeks in. it is basement walls so i figured they would help more. prob are or id have higher temps.

OG what do you mean specifically be on your game with temps like that

When your running temps that high your essentially pushing the plant to its limit, lo humidity will give you leaf curl or shrivels edges, to much food is instant burn. Lose co2 for whatever reason and watch everything foxtail out of control in 3-4 days. Everything just happens fast and is hard to catch and fix in time when your pushing things that hard, if you frequent your grow and keep everything within reasonable ranges it can work out just fine. Some strains take it like a champ, some you have to make minor adjustments. I'd put the sativas closer to the light and try to keep the indices a bit cooler if possible

Thank you. I do have it somewhat that way. One indica is huge and takes up half the room but I have her as close to wall as I can (one of cement ones) that lets me put sativa closer to middle of room.. But room is FULL w these four so can't move em much... Well here goes nothing- gunna see if I can do it... It's a hobby not a job if I loose my world doesn't end.

What would be "circuit breaker" temp you would say, "not a degree more I need a/c" ?

I grow in a cab with a 250 hps & the temps range from 83f to 90f during flowering & I've never had issues...at all. I also have a 170 cfm inline fan and Phresh 4x12 filter exhaust setup. If you have proper airflow then it will be just fine, trust me.

I've read so many posts over the years by newbies who freak out because their temps are not in the perfect 72-78 degree range. Some will even stop growing until they can dial those temps in...totally absurd.

I've never stopped growing but I've had all my nice tops go to shit. I just made oil and kept it as smoke but it still finished and grew,

Circuit breaker temp is strain dependant. 91 is hot. At 92-95 my high temp shut offs start tripping lights

Id assume your taking moisture out of the air
So leaves are cooling themselves via transpiration.
measure leaf temp via infra red .A

No with those temps vpd calls for 70% humidity or things get out of sack with the temp and co2...

H

Huckster79

But plants are transpiring well- they want h20 every other day religiously

Then do you use same numbers in terms of temp goals? Or is their a doff temp goal for leaf temp? Is t root mass temp a big player too?
