FloraFlex system / RDWC - Anyone using this?

Hello,
I'm currently setting up an 8x8 Current Culture/RDWC + Mars Hydro LED grow and finally have ventilation squared away.

Now I'm looking to learn a little about the Flora Flex system.

I'll only be running 6 plants, so perhaps this is overkill, but the purpose of this current grow room is to teach myself on a small scale how to grow before expanding into a much larger setup, hopefully sometime in September of next year.

Has anyone ever run these Flora Flex setups in 4 or 6" cubes but in an RDWC setup?
In previous runs, I've popped seeds into RapidRooters and hand watered in a tray until the roots showed, then moved them to the RDWC pots and hand watered until the roots reached the solution.

However, in the interest of learning more automation skills, I've considered the Flora Flex setup to push the cubes along (and while I'm at work/out of town, etc)

I'd probably fill the RDWC system up enough to circulate, and connect the water pump to the control bucket on a timer.

I have limited space, and want to minimize the risk of water spilling onto the floor/into the apartment below.

Thanks!

Water damage=potential electrical fire. If I was growing on an upper level, I would either buy a big ass expensive pond liner, or I would top feed/hand water single cell units with 0 holes in the buckets, top draining with a wet-vac, making a pond liner redundant, with the latter being my first choice.

Just my 2 cents.

Good point.
Opted for DWC, and eventually RDWC for that reason. Also went with Current culture system as opposed to building my own and potentially screwing that up.
Pool liner is a great idea, going to look into that.

I guess I'm specifically curious to see if anyones doing a dripper system for early stages of RDWC, using the control bucket of RDWC as the reservoir for dripper system.

I don't have experience with drippers, but IME, those roots are better off growing through their net pots and into the buckets asap. Running a drip line along side a feed line sounds like a good idea if you are going out of town, but in my case, I would only wind up using 6 weeks out of the year. I just make sure the starting water level is about an inch away from the bottom of my cubes. I only wind up hand watering the cubes for a few days.
