Flooding in SE Spain...

Terrible. The Seine river in Paris does this every 100 years, almost like clockwork. Even the bottom floors of the museums are emptied/evacuated in anticipation. I think it finally happened again a couple of years back.

Hi StrongTree,

Thank you very much for your concern :huggg:
Fortunately the last week' rains were not so heavy in my area and nearby, although devastating in some villages of SE Spain .... some villages received in a few days rains of more than 400 liters/m2 (the record in a century, since there are records), so the floods in these places were apocalyptic, especially in villages with rivers nearby.

The 'gota fría' episodes (as we call them here in Spain) seem that will increase in frequency and intensity in my area with the global warming.

It's relieving to see the younger generations more concerned about this global problem and doing demonstrations to make effective changes in the behaviour of mankind.
Our planet certainly cannot take more C02, methane, plastic, contamination, deforestation and loss of genetic diversity.
The planet will be in a situation of no return unless we all contribute to change this now and in the upcoming 1-2 generations.
