Flood tray options

I'm curious what some.of you guys use in place of flood trays. I need to cover an 8x8 area. My local store doesn't have any trays and won't be getting any for a month or so and I need something now. Having them shipped is out of the question as shipping is pretty much the price of the tray. Running dripper system to my pots but need something to catch runoff. What are some other things you guys use? I have an old intex swimming pool liner I'm thinking about using and just setting my pots on a brick or something to keep them elevated off the liner. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

What I do

What I do

I frame whatever size I need with lumber, paint it white with appliance paint. Slope white metal roofing for the bottom, catch the runoff in slit open pvc and plumb it to drain. Put the frame on casters so you can roll it around. The framing also gives you a good place to attach trellis supports and irrigation tubing. Grow on.
