Interested if anyone has seen any simple way to automate flooding of ebb flow trays where the tray is lower then the reservoir level? Some sort of small sump under tray the pumps to the res?

lol you just need a sump on the return.

slope your pipes like .05% just like a sewer system. all your tables need to collect in something like a 5 gallon bucket with a sump pump.

unless your can source a valve actuator, you will need a pump on your supply side too. since you are at risk of a siphon, install an air break after the pump such that air enters the system when the pump shuts off.

both pumps will probably cost you like 200 bucks new.
