Float Valve + Pump

I am trying to automate my res:

I've got 2x 90gal tanks right next to eachother, one with RO water and one with nutes. I'd like the water res to "top off" the nute res.

I have used float valves hooked to my RO's with constant pressure... but this is different. I know they have float valves with triggers but I have done some research and I can find much concrete info on brands that I can rely on.

Does anyone have experience with pump triggering float valves and could suggest something that might work with my setup? Thanks in advance!

Just use a pump with a pressure tank and a pressure limit switch. Put a check valve between pump and pressure limit switch / tank tee.

Hmmm.. what if I just put a regular pump on a cycle timer that came on several times a day? This way I wouldn't need to buy anything. Just a thought as a work around.

If you could get the fresh water rez higher than the Nute rez, you could let gravity help.
Add a bulkhead fitting to the bottom of the fresh rez.
Add a float valve to the top of the Nute rez.
Connect a hose between the two.
When the level in the Nute rez drops, the float valve opens. Gravity causes water to flow from fresh to Nute rez.
Bob's your uncle...
