Flo F2 male

[Elevator Man]

Here's a few pics of my special Flo male. This was selected from a batch of 20 F2 seeds, which I narrowed down initially to 'purple only', then (roughly) 'sativa-dom only', and then to 'male only', which left me with four candidates. This one won.



It has a great dark spicy berry smell when the stems are rubbed, nice leaf shape, purple stems and accents on the flowers, and many visible trichomes, always a good indicator. Even better, it has one tiny female bud, which sports at least six selfed seeds! I'm just waiting for these to mature before I chop the plant, but I'm collecting pollen every night:

H&L - I've just kept it in a film canister with a shitload of silica gel beads whilst I collected it - then divided it up into separate vials. There's probably only about 100mg in each vial, but that's still enough to do a lot of buds, and the plant will be dropping for another week at least.

I did have one scary moment the other day when the pollen began caking together for some reason - possibly the gel reaching capacity, and the canister not being totally airtight. I added a pile more gel, and left it in a warm spot, and it dried out again. I pushed it through a sieve yesterday to get rid of any lumps...
